Description
A brief history of Arctic Circle: In 1924 an entrepreneur named Don Carlos Edwards put up a tiny refreshment stand during a Pioneer Day celebration in a small Northern Utah town. Although he didn't know it then, that stand was the beginning of a fast food icon that now spans the Western United States. Carlos' stand became Carlos Bar-B-Q in Salt Lake City and nine years -- in 1950 -- later he opened his first Arctic Circle, specializing in items like "Brown Toppers" and "Ranch Burgers." Arctic Circle is also said to be the originator of Utah's ubiquitous fry sauce.
